Howard Payne University, based in Brownwood for 125 years, has offered classes in the New Braunfels area since 2012. The university is proud to be a part of the New Braunfels community and has been thrilled with the center’s growth each new semester. We look forward to building a permanent campus in New Braunfels as part of the exciting new Veramendi development project. We offer Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees for traditional and non-traditional students. The Alamo Colleges, in partnership with the New Braunfels 4B Economic Development Board and the Seguin 4A Economic Development Board have worked to bring Alamo Colleges services to New Braunfels, Seguin, and the surrounding area. This facility is intended as an avenue for New Braunfels/Seguin area residents to attain entry-level skills or increase technical skills and to connect to jobs or higher education opportunities.The CTTC offers short-term workforce training programs that connect residents to emerging jobs in demand occupations, college academic core courses (such as science, math, humanities), occupational training, manufacturing and Nursing ESL Classes utilizing the contextual training format through I-BEST (Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training), summer Youth programs, and FREE Training Opportunities.
