The Chamber’s Business-Education Partnership Committee continues to support the expansion of the Nepris program through new opportunities for students, as they explore the jobs in the local market. March 20-23, is WOW Week – World of Work – sponsored by NB/STEAM and Nepris.
NB/STEAM and Nepris have organized a week of live chats with local businesses and their leadership. These chats are scheduled for specific times and days March 20-23. There are eight area businesses signed up to share their story with local students in all public and private schools in Comal County. These live chats will represent jobs in manufacturing, journalism, healthcare, and natural resources to name a few. The businesses participating from the area include New Braunfels Utilities, Resolute Health, Guadalupe Blanco River Authority (GBRA), New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung, and Cemex to name a few.
