Celebrate chamber-week

The City of New Braunfels, Comal County and the State of Texas are celebrating Texas Chamber of Commerce Week October 16-20, 2017. This week is a time set aside each October to recognize the hard work and accomplishments of chambers of commerce and the communities they represent. The City of New Braunfels and Comal County both issued proclamations officially declaring the week as Chamber of Commerce Week.

Although their work is often done behind the scenes, chamber of commerce staff and volunteers are routinely involved in many areas of the community that help it thrive. In New Braunfels these include business development, business recruitment and retention, tourism marketing, education and workforce development, community betterment, and advocacy, among others. The New Braunfels Chamber works to support the growth of their approximately 2,300 members while helping to build a prosperous and sustainable community.

During Chamber of Commerce Week, the New Braunfels Chamber will complete Operation Thank You. This is an annual event organized by the Chamber’s Blue Coat Ambassadors with the goal of visiting local Chamber Member businesses to express appreciation for their continued support of the Chamber and the community, and to personally hand-deliver close to 1,500 copies of the 2018 New Braunfels Business, Relocation and Visitors Guide.
