The Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee will meet Thursday, June 13 at 7:30 a.m. in Honors Hall for their regular monthly meeting. State Representative John Kuempel and Daniel Decker, President & CEO of the Texas Travel Industry Association, will provide a recap of the 86th Legislative Session. Kuempel was instrumental in passing NBU’s Aquifer Storage Recovery bill that will have a major positive impact on our community, and Decker will explain the impact several bills will have on the state and local tourism industry.
