Listen up, New Braunfels! Small Business week is the first week of May, which means that it's time to show the small businesses of New Braunfels how special they truly are. Alongside recognizing the 2022 Small Business Person of the Year, celebrate with the Chamber by visiting your favorite small businesses during this special week.
The Chamber strongly encourages small businesses to take advantage of this week to promote their hard work. Use the hashtag #ShopSmallNBTX during the week of May 1st - May 7th for a chance to be featured on the New Braunfels Chamber social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year. Every day, entrepreneurs are working to grow small businesses, create 21st century jobs, drive innovation, and increase America’s global competitiveness.
