The Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee will meet on Thursday, October 10 at 7:30 a.m. in Honors Hall for their regular monthly meeting. Vic Boyer, President & CEO of the San Antonio Mobility Coalition (SAMCo), will provide the presentation on regional transportation funding and their efforts during the past Texas Legislative Session. SAMCo is a non-profit corporation organized in 2001 to advocate for highway, transit, and freight rail funding for the greater San Antonio region. Since its inception, SAMCo has helped secure more than $3 billion in additional funding for transportation projects in the region.
