The Chamber welcomes the Grand Opening of Veramendi Dam #2 with Veramendi and city officials!
Construction of the Regional Detention Facility on Veramendi has been underway for the past year and is soon to be fully completed. To celebrate the completion of this 35-foot tall earthen dam that will benefit and protect not only Veramendi, but downtown New Braunfels and the Headwaters, the Grand Opening was held On October 20th amongst Chamber Members, Veramendi, and city officials. The Dam is located at the end of Word Parkway. The entry to Word Parkway is to the right of Oakwood Church.
