Service dogs for kids is a one-of-a-kind non-profit servicing a demographic that is underserved. This is an untapped into need that provides a brilliant resource for healing. They have seen firsthand what a trained dog can do for a child, our child, who has suffered from PTSD and anxiety. Being able to provide this healing for other families is a privilege we are proud to have. We believe our organization is helping children where others aren't.
Their organization helps these children overcome statistics and not only help them become survivors instead of victims, but they help them build their self-esteem again through training their service dog.
We started SDK because we had the need for it for our daughter and seeing what a tremendous help it was for her, we wanted to provide that for other families, at no cost to them. We have been a registered 501(c)3 since September 2019.
Together, we can Empower our Youth to Take Back their Lives, One child, One dog, One day at a time.
