Phyllis Foerster is the Chamber’s Vice President of Membership. In her position she is responsible for membership recruitment and retention, membership mixers, ribbon cuttings, new member orientations and receptions, and the Blue Coat organization. Foerster is also responsible for the Official Guide to New Braunfels magazine.
She has been with the Chamber since 1988 starting out as a front desk receptionist. Her responsibilities then moved to Administrative Assistant and then she assumed the Membership Director position in 1996. Foerster graduated from the Institute for Organization Management from Colorado College Institute in 2001.
Phyllis’ first job was at Landa Park Pool during her high school years. After High School she attended Durham Business School in Austin. Prior to working at the Chamber she worked at John Kenagy Motor Company and in the CISD tax office.
Phyllis was born and raised in New Braunfels and graduated from Canyon High School in 1977. She married Brian Forester in 1986 and they have two children, Brianna and Dustin. She is also blessed with three grandchildren, Nash, Baylin and Charlie June.
