The Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee will be hosting the quarterly Airman of the Quarter and Airman of the Year reception Tuesday, March 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the McKenna Events Center honoring two airmen from Randolph Air Force Base (RAFB).

The Military Affairs Committee will gather to honor the accomplishments of Randolph Air Force Base’s 2020 Airman of the 4th Quarter, SrA Trevor W. Van Petten and the 2020 Airman of the Year, A1C Chynna Booker-Gibbs. The Airmen, their families, and their command teams will be invited to the reception to celebrate their exemplary performance.

Each airman will be presented with a gift bag full of New Braunfels related items, gift cards and cash as a “Vacation to New Braunfels” package serving as a perfect excuse to come back and visit our great city. Donations are being accepted through March 8 and can be dropped off at the Chamber office located at 390 S. Seguin Ave. Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For any questions, please contact Chelsea Yohn at Chelsea@InNewBraunfels.com.

The purpose of the Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee is to enhance relationships between the New Braunfels community and the military, particularly those Airmen stationed at Randolph Air Force Base (RAFB). Since 1968, the committee has hosted a quarterly reception for an Outstanding Airman from RAFB to demonstrate our appreciation, ongoing commitment, and support to all who serve our nation. The New Braunfels community has always opened its arms to those who serve and will continue to proudly support all who choose to defend the United States of America.
