If you haven’t heard about it yet, Network Now! is one of the newest networking opportunities hosted by the Chamber. This event is very similar to speed dating; you and 29 other business professionals will line up across from one another and have the opportunity to exchange business cards and information for about two minutes. Once the time is expired, you will be signaled to transition to the next person in line.
Network Now! will meet on Thursday, July 18, at 7:30 a.m. at Chick-fil-A Westpointe Village (1663 W State Hwy 46). Guests will arrive at 7:30 a.m. to eat breakfast and mingle. The welcome will begin at 7:50 a.m. and the organized networking will start at 8:00 a.m.
Because people prefer to do business with those they know personally, Network Now! provides the opportunity to create those relationships with other businesses in the area. Speed networking is a two-way process: listen carefully to each of your partners to make sure you understand their situation, and offer advice and help, whenever possible. After the event, be sure to keep in mind that business will not bloom overnight. Networking and crafting relationships takes time, and the more events you attend with the Chamber, the more contacts you will meet.
Network Now! is only $15 per person which includes breakfast, a gift card to Chick-fil-A to use at a later date, and the opportunity to build relationships with other business professionals in the New Braunfels area.
