The Chamber’s Natural Resources Committee will meet for their quarterly meeting on Thursday, February 7, at 11:45 a.m. in Honors Hall. The lunch program will include presentations from City of New Braunfels Recycling Coordinator Catelyn Scholwinski and of the Waste Management Team, District Manager Bryon Turner and Gas Management Manager Keith Sharon. Scholwinski will provide an update on the City’s Recycling Program, and the Waste Management Team will share how methane gas is being used to produce energy.
The Natural Resources Committee provides information and resources to Chamber members in the areas of water, air, land conservation, environmental topics and how to protect the natural resources in New Braunfels and Comal County.
