An out-of-this world program has been prepared for the Texas Legislative Conference on March 26-27 in New Braunfels. Not only will there be a panel with three former Astronauts and the Flight Director for all of the Apollo Missions, but NASA’s International Space Station Chief Scientist & Research Integration Office Deputy Manager Dr. Kirt Costello will participate in the first panel of the day: The Role of Science in our Economy. The Conference kicks off with a reception Thursday evening honoring 2020 Texan of the Year Charles Duke. The evening will include a VIP reception, social hour with heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar, an introduction by Former Congressman Lamar Smith and the presentation of the award to Duke.
