Have you ever noticed that there is a common thread running through the DNA of all successful teams? It doesn’t matter if they exist in the sports world or the business world, all championship level teams have one thing in common. It is known as Chemistry. As simple as it may sound, chemistry can be hard to define and even more difficult to develop, but it can be done. Team building is a process and chemistry is the goal. When you have a group that has strong team chemistry, you can rest assured that you have a championship level team.

On Wednesday, August 2, the Leadership New Braunfels Alumni Association will host the LeadeshipLab session Building a Championship Level Team in your Workplace presented by Clint Rutledge. The Rutledge family (beginning with Coach D.W. Rutledge) has spent the last 37 years studying and fine tuning the team building process. Join us as Clint reveals this process, shows you how to develop chemistry among your workers, and puts you on a path to building your own Championship Level Team in your Workplace. The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the New Braunfels Civic Convention Center.

This 3.5 hour seminar will include topics such as:

  • Attitude – As Zig Ziglar once said, “In any task we undertake, 85% of our success is determined by our Attitude and only 15% is determined by our Aptitude, which is our talents and capabilities.” How much time are you spending with your people on developing their Attitudes?
  • Assets – The biggest asset of any company has nothing to do with goods, stocks, equipment, or even clients. A company’s biggest asset is the Team – the people who show up to work everyday. How well you understand your people, how to communicate with them, how to motivate them, and how to equip them for success will ultimately determine the success of your Company. How well do your team leaders know the people they lead?
  • Accountability – Vince Lombardi once said, “Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.” How do you create an environment where everyone is working towards a common goal, everyone understands the importance of their role, and everyone takes responsibility for their actions? The secret lies in creating a culture of accountability and positive peer pressure. How are your leaders doing with creating a culture of positive accountability?

To make this day as effective as possible, we encourage you to send at least 4 staff members from your group. Tickets to Building a Championship Level Team in your Workplace are $149 for the general public and $129 for Chamber members and LNB Alumni. Purchase three tickets are receive the fourth free. A light breakfast will be provided.
