LEADERSHIP NEW BRAUNFELS APPLICATION DEADLINE APPROACHING

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Applications for the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership New Braunfels class are due July 30. Applications and program information are available at www.LeadInNewBraunfels.com. The 2019 class will be the 27th group of local business and community leaders to go through the course.

Prime candidates for this program are individuals who are emerging as leaders within their chosen careers and/or various community organizations and agencies, and current leaders wishing to improve their knowledge, expand their network, and enhance their leadership skills. This program strives to develop individuals to serve in leadership roles in their business careers and civic endeavors.

Leadership New Braunfels is a series of one-day sessions, beginning in October, covering topics such as government, economic development, education, social needs, and other key segments of the community. Also in October, the class will participate in a Community Leaders Reception and a two-day, overnight retreat.

Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to meet New Braunfels and Comal County leaders, build their leadership skills, and develop valuable relationships with their classmates. Upon meeting the attendance and participation requirements, the class members will participate in a graduation ceremony in May and join the more than 630 previous graduates as members of the LNB Alumni Association.

The program is open to individuals from every sector of the community and is not limited to Chamber members, however, the number of participants selected is limited. Tuition for the program is $800 and covers all meals, retreat with overnight accommodations and all course materials. The program does require a serious time commitment and all participants are expected to adhere to an attendance policy.
