Jocelyn Perez was born and raised in San Antonio and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. After graduation, Jocelyn joined Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. in San Antonio as an engineer, and in 2018, helped open Pape-Dawson’s New Braunfels branch to better serve clients and projects within New Braunfels and along the IH 35 corridor. Jocelyn has more than 20 years of experience in civil engineering and has developed the site design for large and small commercial subdivisions; master-planned, mixed-use developments; single- and multi-family residential developments; and the roadway systems that connect them all. A recent graduate of Leadership New Braunfels, Jocelyn served as co-chair on the Alumni Fundraiser Committee and was a member of the Youth Leadership New Braunfels Selection Committee. She also served on the City of New Braunfels Citizen Advisory Committee to help create the City’s Land Development Ordinance.

Jocelyn and her husband, Ian, moved to New Braunfels shortly after getting married in 2012. They are the proud parents of Leila and Nick, who both attend Lamar Elementary and are active in softball, basketball, and countless other activities. While her kids’ events take up most of her free time, Jocelyn also enjoys traveling with her family and being by the water.
