The New Braunfels Jaycees monthly Membership Mixer will be held Tuesday, February 13 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Seekatz Opera House in downtown New Braunfels. There will be a few announcements and recognition of new members but it is primarily a networking event giving the community’s young professionals a chance to meet and mingle.
In addition to a standard Membership Mixer, this event will also serve as a Meet the Candidates Mixers for City of New Braunfels, Comal County, Guadalupe County, and State candidates. More than 40 of the 60 candidates will be in attendance at the mixer to give Jaycees members a chance to meet the candidates they’ll be voting on in the March Primaries and give the candidates an opportunity to reach this demographic directly.
Light hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be provided. This mixer is sponsored by Seekatz Opera House, Chick-fil-A Wespointe Village, Faust Brewing Company, and Copper Star Cellars.
The Jaycees (Junior Chamber) are New Braunfels’ young professionals organization. They are made up of aspiring leaders between the ages of 18-40 who are looking to grow their network, become engaged in the community, progress their professional development, and work towards creating a better New Braunfels through volunteering and philanthropic efforts. The Jaycees help prepare their members to become the business and community leaders of New Braunfels’ future.
