Government Affairs to Review Proposed Legislative Priorities

Published Friday, September 7, 2018 10:00am

The Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee will meet Thursday, September 13 at 7:30 a.m. in Honors Hall for their regular monthly meeting. The program will be a review of the draft Chamber Legislative Priorities presented by a sub-committee of the Government Affairs Committee. The sub-committee has compiled information from each of the presentations this year, along with feedback from Chamber members via an online poll to create the Chamber 2019 Legislative Priorities. The Government Affairs Committee will need to review and approve these priorities before they are sent on to the Chamber Board of Directors for approval and ultimately to our state elected officials.

The Government Affairs Committee focuses on local, state and national issues that are important to business and have an impact on the local area. For more information on this committee, or any of the Chamber’s committees, visit www.CommitteesInNewBraunfels.com.
