The 175th celebrations kick back up starting this July with a Founder’s Day parade. This year the Founder’s Day parade will include celebrations for the 4th of July, the 175th anniversary, and the historic Kindermasken.
All of the planned 175th anniversary events scheduled for 2020 were postponed until 2021 when they could be executed safely. The first of those events is a combined parade on Saturday, July 3.
The parade will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 3 downtown New Braunfels. The 175th Anniversary Commission and the Parade Committee encourage all schools, local and area organizations, and businesses to participate. Visit https://since1845.com/event/parade/ to learn more.
Founders Fireworks will be put on by with the City of New Braunfels on Sunday, July 4 starting at 8:15 p.m. at Landa Park. Open seating will be available at the Golf Course. Tune into 1420 KGNB AM/103.1 FM for music coordinated with the fireworks. Lawn chairs and blankets will not be provided.
