The annual meeting of the Greater New Braunfels Economic Development Foundation is set for Tuesday, February 11 at the McKenna Events Center. Foundation members will elect officers and directors, approve a budget, and enter into a professional services agreement with the Chamber. Foundation Chairman Tim Zipp of Hill Country Medical will preside at the annual meeting.
Foundation Executive Director Michael Meek will moderate a panel of new companies to the community including one site selection firm that represented another company. Panelists will explain why they choose New Braunfels for their new operations, including the factors involved.
The event is a ticketed affair, with tables of eight reserved seats available at $250. Seidel Construction is the Presenting Sponsor and at press time, Event Sponsors include KFW Engineers and Pape Dawson Engineering. Foundation member individual tickets are $15 and non-members are $30. The meeting begins with an 11:30am networking and registration session followed by a buffet lunch by Pavlock’s Catering.
