The monthly economic briefing was held March 9 at the Chamber. Michael Meek, Chamber President, hosted the Advisory Team as he briefed the group on economic activities over the last month. Newly elected council member Shane Hines sat in for Mayor Casteel and Commissioner Scott Haag represented Commissioners Court for Judge Krause.
This past month the Chamber economic development team received and worked one new lead, seven local expansion projects, 14 current New Braunfels Industrial Development Corporation (NBIDC) projects, reviewed or communicated with 27 still active leads from previous months including TaskUs and a promising opportunity at the Titan Industrial Park, and worked on the five major strategic planning goals, three county initiatives, sixteen marketing and outreach initiatives currently underway, and eleven miscellaneous items.
