CITY, COUNTY, STATE CELEBRATE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WEEK OCT. 15-19

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – All across the state, including here in New Braunfels and Comal County, communities will celebrate Texas Chamber of Commerce Week October 15-19. A week in October is dedicated each year to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of chambers of commerce and the communities they represent. The City of New Braunfels issued a proclamation for the week at the City Council meeting on October 8 and Comal County will issue a similar proclamation at the Commissioners Court on October 18.

Although their work is often done behind the scenes, chamber of commerce staff and volunteers are routinely involved in many areas of the community that help it thrive. In New Braunfels these include business development, business recruitment and retention, education and workforce development, community betterment and political action, among others. The New Braunfels Chamber works to support the growth of their more than 2,500 members while helping to build a prosperous and sustainable community.

During Chamber of Commerce Week, the New Braunfels Chamber will complete Operation Thank You. This is an annual event organized by the Chamber’s Blue Coat Ambassadors with the goal of visiting local Chamber Member businesses to express appreciation for their continued support of the Chamber and the community, and to personally hand-deliver close to 1,500 copies of the 2019 New Braunfels Business, Relocation and Visitors Guide.
