City Council to Hear Presentation for All Inclusive Play Equipment in NB

The New Braunfels City Council will meet City LogoMonday, July 22 at 6:00 p.m. for their Regular Meeting at 550 Landa Street. If not attending, the meeting can be viewed on Spectrum Enterprise channel 21 or AT&T U-Verse channel 99. The agenda includes two presentations, 16 items on the Consent Agenda, six of which are ordinances, and nine Individual Items For Consideration, including several ordinances to rezone properties within the City.

The meeting will begin with two presentations on the 2019 Bond Project for all ability inclusive play equipment, and a Library Without Fines.

The Consent Agenda includes a ratification for the submission of a grant application to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for safety equipment valued up to $32,850, a contract for the purchase of an ambulance to be housed at Fire Station #7, and a contract to provide final design, bid phase, and construction phase services for a new Police Department facility, among other items.

The Individual Items for Consideration include a presentation on the FY 2018-19 Debt Issuance Strategy and consideration of the approval of a resolution authorizing proceeding with the issuance of Certificates of Obligation, and an ordinance disannexing approximately 62.4 acres of land out of the J. M. Veramendi Survey No. 2, Abstract 3, located along the northwest right-of-way line of Loop 337, among other items.
