The Chamber’s 99th Annual Banquet and Awards Program will take place on Friday, January 26 at the New Braunfels Civic Convention Center at 6:00 p.m. Community and business leaders will gather for a night dedicated to celebrating the New Braunfels business community and the announcement of the Besserung Award winner, often referred to as New Braunfels’ Citizen of the Year. The keynote address will be given by seven-time Olympic medalist Shannon Miller.
The banquet will begin with a social hour with hors d’oeuvres and drinks provided by The Grapevine and Gruene Hall. Miller will be on hand signing autographs for attendees. A delicious dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:30. The program will include award presentations for Blue Coats, Chair of the Board Awards, and Hall of Honor inductees, the announcement of the winner of the Besserung Award, the keynote address by Miller and the ceremonial passing of the gavel from Outgoing Chair of the Board Brandon Dietert of the New Braunfels Smokehouse to Incoming Chair of the Robin Jeffers of J & R Gymnastics.
