The Chamber’s Board of Directors convened, Monday, May 18 via Zoom conference call. Chamber Chair of the Board Wes Studdard presided at this virtual meeting.
During the virtual meeting the board received an update from Mayor Barron Casteel on the City of New Braunfels’ efforts in response to COVID-19. In addition, an update on summer tourism was given by a panel of industry representatives from Schlitterbahn, Rockin’ R, Natural Bridge Caverns, Stars & Stripes Drive-In Theatre, the Gruene Historic District and more.
The second Chair of the Board Award for 2020 was presented to Mayor Barron Casteel by Wes Studdard in the field of Effective Governance. Read more about this honor here.
