The SAFE, Student and Family Empowerment, program was designed to aid the surrounding school districts with truancy issues, working with the community to help students and families find and receive the resources they need to improve their children's educational experiences and overall quality of life.

The Business-Education Partnership Committee acts as the education advocate for the community, acting on the recommendations of the Mayor’s Higher Education Task Force. For more information on this committee, or any of the Chamber’s committees, visit
